Any remedies to ease tooth ache?

I had my bottom wisdom tooth filled about a month ago.
It was a big hole.
It's now aching and pain into my ear.
I've tried Clove oil,warm salt water and painkillers.
What else can I try?
Why is it aching when it's been filled ?

Have you tried the Nurofen that is especially for toothache? I think you may have to ask for it OTC.

I think you need to go back to dentist and get it checked out, as it shouldn’t hurt for that long.
