Community Nursing Interview Help

Hi,

I’m a final year nursing student and have an interview on Monday for a community nurse role. I am SO nervous about it, I have completed 2 placements on the community and have loved it and really, really want to work there.

Does anyone have any ideas of what kind of questions I may be asked? I was thinking maybe care plans, wound assessment, end of life care?

Any help would be absolutely great and very much appreciated.

Thank you

Maybe infection control at the moment, plus general stuff like confidentiality, maintaining dignity. Please let us know as this may be an area I'm interested in in the future.

Usually there is a question concerning Trust values so worth reading up on those. If you're not already aware of it, have a look at the S.T.A.R. technique for answering interview questions. Helps if you get nervous to focus your responses. Good luck.

Thank you! Of course infection control, no idea why I didn’t think of that Blush

I’ll look up the Trust Values and the STAR technique. Thanks again and I’ll update when I hear anything.
