Have any Mums had the Covid Vaccine?

Im 26 weeks pregnant and work for the NHS as a front line worker. I work on a ward with suspected and confirmed Covid patients. I do know the risks fot both myself and baby could be severe if I were to catch Covid. I have been offered the vaccine but am so undecided whether or not to have it. Has anyone else who is pregnant had the vaccine?

Not me personally, but I know two pregnant women who have had it without any problems, both front-line healthcare workers. I think that given the millions of doses administered so far without serious adverse effects the benefits for you and your baby outweigh the risks, especially since you are routinely exposed to covid patients. but it's a very personal decision.

I have decided to have the vaccine as I feel my risk of becoming severely unwell and the higher risk of pre term labour if I was to catch Covid is quite high. It is definitely a personal decision and has been very difficult but I think it is for the best. I have also looked at the Royal College of Gynaecologists and they cannot see any evidence the vaccine would cause harm to baby. I do feel that as baby is more developed as I'm now 26 weeks makes me feel a little better too.

I think I would probably have it, especially given your job role.
