I start a new job soon.
I’ve never been the most confident person, but ever since I was offered the position I’ve been completely overcome by imposter syndrome! It’s a step-up and will be a big challenge for me - I also had to do some tasks as part of the interview so they know how I work etc, but I still feel really low on confidence... silly, I know!
Does anyone have any good recommendations for techniques to deal with this? It’s years since I had a ‘first day’ and I’ll be onboarded remotely too, which is nerve wracking as I really want to feel like part of the team straight away.
I recently read Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway which is what led to me FINALLY taking the leap after being unhappy in my job for ages. So any recommendations for books would be good too.
I just want to feel excited and not so bloody nervous! Thanks
