For me, Dh and 3 dc in August. I added the cancellation insurance! I can't bring myself to believe I'll actually be able to go though.

Is anyone else like this? Like being able to do things like have a week staycation is just never going to happen? It's like I don't dare to hope on anything anymore

We have just booked a boat on the Norfolk Broads for September

Just got to keep fingers crossed.

Weve booked a cottage for a week in August in the UK.

Who knows what will happen but I'm hopeful.

Finance wise, if there are restrictions in place at the time, they will refund / rebook.

What I have done differently (and never usually do innthe uk) is bought travel insurance for the covid protection. So if we are self isolating due to contact or have it at the time we can claim. £30- bargain.

Covered all covid related eventualities.

Fingers crossed for all of us!
