Can’t work out if I’m being mean. What time do your year 10s (so 14/15 year olds) have to be in bed on a school night? Thank you!

No bed time for mine. Usually goes to sleep around 10:30/11 pm.

Later on weekends.

My son is yr11 but I leave him to it and have done since last year. He tends to take himself about 11pm, I don’t mind as long as he gets up for school with no problem which he does.

The one who most recently was that age used to go at 9. They like their sleep.

Expect the one likely to be that age soon will go a bit later.

No one in our house ever really makes it past about 10!

'likely' to be that age? I can't type.

I think that at 14/15 they would be old enough to sort themselves out, obviously with you able to chat to them if they are staying up all night/obviously shattered every day.

10pm on a school night because he sleeps like the dead and is impossible to wake in a morning- takes him a long time to wake up.

Weekends and holidays it's officially 11pm but as long as he keeps quiet after that time (we go to bed then) we don't monitor what he's up to.

We don't take his phone or any other screens away at any time.

Mine still likes me to kiss her and tuck her in so I do that around 10. I'm happy for her to stay up later if she wants but that's when I go to bed 🤣
