Evening all!
Can anyone recommend a decent bubble machine please to use with my 3 year old?
My current one, similar to the pic attached, is rubbish! Have to fill it with solution every 2-3 minutes and the majority of the time the bubble pops just as it comes out of the machine.
I've looked on Amazon but am overwhelmed so thought I'd ask you trusty mumsnetters! Thanks all! Grin

We have a gazillion bubbles machine, it works best with their own expensive brand bubble mixture. It clogs up a bit with cheaper liquid for some reason.

That’s weird. I came on here to to suggest the exact same one you said was rubbish!! Maybe we have just been lucky and got one that works really well. We don’t fill it, the bottle is rammed onto the filler bit upside down and left to its own devices - and it’s fabulous.

I've had 2 from Tesco and they've been great - the only reason I had to replace them is they don't stand up that well to being left outside in the rain.

The Works do big bottles of solution for £1.50 that work really well.

I've got a big bottle of solution from the works and one from Asda too. It seems to be the machine that's frustrating as I have to fill it up after a couple of minutes as the solution has run out (by run out I mean seeped out underneath)

Ah that sort of running out :( that’s not good, it does sound as if you have got a dodgy one. Just checking you didn’t take the card off the bottle, I just put a tiny hole in so it goes in slowly? Hope you find something that works better.

I'm tempted to get a plug in one or a more expensive one but before a fork out £30-£40 is it worth it?! And what to go for? Son loves bubbles!
