I bought a second hand bike in October. Lady selling said it had a slow puncture in one tyre and had been unused for at least 6 months. She pumped it up and I rode it the 15 minutes back with no problem. IT seems fine afterwards and I used it once or twice a week until xmas. Since then I have got it out maybe 4 times and had to put air in twice. Just been out for a 15 minute ride to the shop and back and it felt a bit flat. Not unrideable but noticeable.
Is it a slow puncture or just the cold weather afecting the tyre pressure? I spoke to a guy in Halfords when I bought it who said it may be lack of use that caused the flat tyre before my purchase rather than a puncture. I find the pressure is low in both tyres not just the one which is what makes me question a puncture.
