What can make receiving goods from a small business extra special?

I’m in the process of setting up a small business selling jewellery. I really want the experience of receiving the jewellery through the post to be a lovely one and was wondering what extra touches I could add.

Has anyone received something from a small (or large) business in a way that’s made the whole experience extra special? Notes, packaging, something else?

Handwritten note is always a nice touch!

I received this when ordering seeds, just ordinary garden seeds. So sweet and a thoughtful message on the little card. I'm normally not the pink and uh type, but this was so nice and personal just for seeds that I've actually already ordered from them again Smile.

I've just today had a delivery from etsy, handmade item. Came with a lovely handwritten postcard. I think that's lovely.
I have had clothing from somewhere that attaches tags with the teeniest cute peg, like a tiny clothes peg. Utterly useless but I use them to hold gift bags closed.
And the very appreciated haribo.
Aside from those, nicely packed in recyclable and or compostable wrapping. I've had frozen food deliveries and all of the packaging is compostable or reusable or recyclable, though the wool did fill my compost bin at the time, it was a large order.

What about a branded trolley coin key ring. Very useful and sure it would be kept and used and then your company details will always be in front of them.

Nice recyclable packaging. No free gifts. Maybe something handwritten about the product eg origin of the name amber or largest emerald ever discovered.
