Crying all the time for no reason

For the past week I have found myself crying all the time. I have a nice life, good job, husband and children but I can't stop crying. I can't explain it. I'm not depressed. I'm having thoughts of myself dying and leaving my children. I feel like I can't tell anyone in real life, what's happening and will it just stop Sad

You need to talk to someone. It's good to vent. This year has been hard.

I try and talk to another adult most days. Not that simple as it's just me and the kids, but I would go mad otherwise. I have different people I talk to about different things. Don't want to overlaod one person!

I did once call the Samaritans as there was an issue I couldn't tell my friends about. The man on the phone was lovely. It was probably easier as I remembered my late grandad volunteered for them years ago. It almost elt like I was talking to him. The best hour of my life and I felt so much better afterwards.

I was thinking about ringing the Samaritans but I don't feel Suicidal or depressed. I just feel "strange". I don't have any motivation it's a horrible feeling

Sorry to hear this OP. The last 12 months have been an enormous strain and stress for everyone, even if you have a nice life. It may be that this has caught up with you in the last week and you're emotionally exhausted. It may be that your mental health is not great.

When you say you have thoughts of dying, is it you causing this? If so, I'd really recommend contacting your GP.

I'd also recommend you try and talk to just one person in real life, or as others have said, Samaritans are always there.

For me this says you need to take extra care of yourself for the next week(s), sleep, fresh air, rest, treats. No improvement/ getting worse, please speak to your GP. Take care.
