I’ve been watching The Investigation which is the dramatisation of the investigation into the Kim Wall murder. When the police write lists of things on the whiteboard they separate the words with hyphens eg:
MURDER-SUICIDE-ACCIDENT
Is that the equivalent of us using a / between words? Or something else? I presume something else more akin to a comma as it’s also used in lists of words which aren’t alternative options.
