Hi,

My husband is asthmatic and on sera tide. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer in November. Would he be classed as needing an earlier vaccine? He hasn't been contacted by the GP.

Don't want to call the doctors if these health conditions don't warrant a vaccine sooner than the autumn

I would imagine the cancer alone would put him in the vulnerable category IE group 6. I would give the doctors a call /email them to query.

Surely the cancer would mean that he is now classed as pretty vulnerable?

You do need to contact your GP. His records may not have been fully updated and may have slipped through the net.
