Selling Women's clothes on Facebook marketplace

Has anyone has positive experience with this? I've never used it and know people who have sold furniture through it. Wasn't sure how worthwhile it would be with ladies clothing but seems quicker to get the crap gone than ebay.. has anyone got any tips?

I have. You still get the odd time waster but its cash in your hand and no listing fees.

I’ve sold some things on Facebook but I would say it’s better for getting rid of things you don’t want (for pretty much free) if you’re having a clear out, rather than making money.

If it's brands people know, they might pay a bit. You could certainly get rid of stuff that way.

You will get almost nothing unless they are brands and new. I just free cycled loads of clothes as it wasn't worth the hassle trying to sell them.

Only maternity clothes, got rid of most of them fairly easily (and a few bits on eBay). Have found it much better for things like furniture and baby equipment though.

Thanks all. I usually do eBay but it's such a faff especially now never leaving the house to have to traipse to the post office! I'll have a trial run on there and resort back to eBay if not.

Not looking to make a tidy sum at all, just get rid.. wish I could do a car boot sale as that would just make it so much easier!

@timetosortmylifeoutlick Click and Drop is a godsend for eBay parcels of you have a drop box near you, you buy the postage labels on line and print at home:

Thank you.. I will take a look at that!
