Those with blonde highlights

Have you attempted any form of home colouring in lock down? My roots are now awful (full head blonde highlights, naturally light brown). I’m so tempted to try a home colour but I’m worried about the result. I don’t want to end up with a mess my hairdresser won’t can’t fix!

I bought a box of dye intending to do it, but it's so much work to do my own (I've done it in the past) Now I have really bad roots and no motivation because no where to go and it's been hat weather. I may break and do it, but I'll try not to.

I am full head bleach, saw my hairdresser in the street and he begged me not to mess about with it and said it would cost a fortune to put right if I did. My roots are BAD but I'm doing as I'm told, very unusually for me!

Right, I'm messaging my hairdresser!

I whacked a box dye on mine to even it out, closer to my natural colour. It looked way too dark for two weeks but now it's a nice natural colour and I'm pretty pleased with it!

I'm saying goodbye to highlights, ending a lifelong habit. I'm going 'bronde' when the hairdressers reopen :)
