Sock knitters I need advice

Just started (last night) can anyone a wool free yarn that's good for sock knitting? I'm using magic circle needles.

@OohKittens post on the Knit & Natter thread; there are some sock makers on there :)

I have a couple of pairs made with bamboo yarn. Lovely and soft and nice to work with. The finished socks ha e less stretch than my wool ones so I find I need to be really careful with sizing.

I used Regia, I can't see the exact one, I don't remember it costing as much as the premium one, it was a standard ball shape.

Regia is really good.
