Are we getting an Easter break

There hasn’t been much said about domestic holidays. We have a cabin for just our family booked for the Easter school holidays. So frustrated that it is still unclear if we can go or not. I don’t care about eating out. Just want to get away from our 4 walls. I have a limited number of days leave that I book in advance. I am locked in now so have to take the leave whatever. I just wish could get more advanced notice. They don’t seem to get that our work (nhs by the way) expects us to plan everything in advance whatever.

And from 29 March it is also understood that people will once again be able to travel out of their areas - although guidance will likely still recommend staying local, and overnight stays will not be permitted.

I think it's only rule of 6 by that point, no non essential retail or hospitality open by then. By Easter I think it will just be outdoor opening up and schools

I’m pretty sure the way the leaks have gone today Easter holidays away anywhere on this country will not be allowed.

I'm hopeful here in Wales, as it's been mentioned they are having talks with the tourism sector and Easter has been cautiously suggested. What isn't clear is if that's agreed, for self catering, when that would apply from..as in the start of the school Easter holidays or from Easter weekend?

I just want to go local in my bloody van. We distance more away than at home by default. I just want something to look forward to

It will be really cruel if they only allow people to go away after the Easter holidays.

Am up to here with it. I’ve have been forced to take all my holiday from this year in the last couple of months when haven’t been allowed to do anything. I couldn’t get any time off over Christmas when everyone else was enjoying sledging etc. And now will be made to waste my leave again for and Easter break that isn’t going to happen.
