Anyone on here NOT (or mostly never) a procrastinator?

I'm a chronic procrastinator. Although I am in general fairly motivated, there are some things that sit for months on my to do list. I'm a lot more together than some people, but have my pet peeves and I get in a real pickle about doing them and put them off.

Is there anyone who is NOT a procrastinator, and who might give tips?

Or does everyone procrastinate on some things!?

Tell you tomorrow

I'm the opposite, I have minimal patience and if I see something needs doing, I do it. There was a scuff I noticed on DD's wall this morning, so I grabbed the paint pot and paint brush and touched it up. Now it looks good again and doesn't bug me. You'll spend more times procrastinating than doing the job!

My husband is amazing.

Small things he does pretty much straight away. He’ll just make a list and then tick them them off.

Bigger things he’ll block out some time in his diary to do then. He always sticks to these commitments, never slides into “tomorrow”.

Complex things, he’ll take a piece of paper and start unpacking the in-between stages in a mind map.

He’s a marvel. Being married to me is his only difficulty Grin.

I am an occasional procrastinator. When I was younger I was a chronic procrastinator, to the point where I dropped a degree classification for handing in my dissertation late (marks knocked off)
Mostly now I get stuff done because I don’t like it hanging over me, I can’t seem to relax properly knowing I’ve got a list of stuff waiting to be done. It really interferes with my enjoyment of mumsnetting and telly watching Grin

I am a massive procrastinator and it ends up causing me stress. In work I leave things to the last minute and end up panicking I am missing something or not hitting a deadline.

Last week I decided to turn over a new leaf. I have organised myself and getting on with stuff. If I can't do something straightaway I block out time to do it, plus organise all the documentation so I'm not scrabbling around. I have got through so much work.

I feel like I am doing a better job, producing better quality work, I feel in control. My sleep has improved.

It won't last, but while it does I would highly recommend it for a more unfrazzled life.
