Hi,
Is this more common in the UK now or am I just getting increasingly tasty to the little b@#$%$?!
Over the past few years, I've gone from getting the odd, little bite, usually abroad, which didn't really amount to anything, to not being able to sit in my own garden without being eaten alive! The bites are always really swollen and INCREDIBLY itchy, making me miserable and unable to sleep.
We sat in our garden yesterday, with coats on, just as a change of scenery and I remember thinking, well at least I won't get bitten and I bloody did!
Not being dramatic, but they honestly do ruin summers for me. Even when I cover up, they still manage to get me. I really don't like using DEET, but will have to spray on a bit round my ankles, because if they get me there, I won't sleep for days and sometimes can hardly walk!
But honestly, February?! It's madness!
Is anyone else noticing this?
