Assuming we will be able to get married we are looking to book our honeymoon for over New Year. Budget is about £2,500 for the week. We want as much luxury as possible - open to self-catering or hotel. If SC we would like a hot tub, wood burner etc, if hotel a spa would be nice! Not really wanting a city location so something more scenic, coastal and rural and off the beaten track but with a nice pub or two accessible.
We considered Scotland first but this is proving problematic over Hogmany as many already booked. The Scarlet in Cornwall is full, and Gilpin in the Lakes is far out of budget,
Any ideas? We're flexible on location really.
