Washing face masks, sensitive skin, no machine?

Just planning ahead really! How are you washing face masks if you've no washing machine available? At the moment, I throw them in with the towels on a 60, but need to plan for just having a sink.

(Don't say disposables as DS won't wear them!)

Wash in soapy water in the sink and rinse thoroughly.

I was in warm soapy water in the sink, dry them on the airer and then go over them with my hair straighteners as I figure nothing can survive that heat, but I can't be bothered to get the iron out. Also has the advantage of finishing off the drying!

It's the detergent that kills the virus, not the temperature.

I just wash by hand in the sink and rinse thoroughly. Mine are homemade and I can't be bothered to remove all the nose clips to machine wash.

In warm water in the sink for 15 minutes rinse and dry in the sun..
I figure if hand washing with soap gets virus off my hands then 15 minutes in soapy water will do for the masks

I soak mine in disinfectant first.

Hot soapy water in the sink.
Rinse.
Pour on kettle full of boiling water.
Squeeze dry by rolling in a towel.
Dry on airer. I would dry in the sun if we had any!
