Big birthday in Lockdown - ideas please!

My partner deserves an amazing 40th birthday after a rough year. However, his birthday is on 19th March so I am very limited by Lockdown!

Please give me some ideas of things I can do to make it super special, I need inspiration!

For context we have 2 young kids.

I had my 40th in lockdown and I had a great day, I got nice presents a cake and big lunch with my kids and Mum (I'm a lone parent) and to be honest that was enough for me. Sounds cheesy but we had a lovely time and I was happy to just spend it with them. Im going to have a big party with all my friends when its finally allowed. Im sure he understands as I did that it can't be more.

It was my birthday this week and we drove a few miles to go for a walk (nice to see different surroundings than we have on the doorstep!) And in the evening we had a 'dark disco'. My friend gave me a box of balloons, glow sticks, ring lights etc. We switched all the lights off, I was in charge of the music and we just bounced around the front room for an hour. So. Much. Fun! Xx

We have done virtual horseracing recently which was a Macmillan charity pack thing.
Kids and adults both enjoyed
