Anyone else had there whatsapp icon disappear saying it could not be backed up because icloud is full? Do people buy more space or is there some trick [dunce]

You need to either buy more space (I pay 79p a month) or delete old photos, videos from WhatsApp. Back it up on laptop first, or email them to yourself if it's stuff you need to keep.

Thank you saffire, I managed to delete most of the photo dross on my laptop and the whatsapp icon miraculously reappeared!
