£400 on a fatboy hammock for the garden?

That’s the brand name btw. Not me saying I’d be buying a hammock for a fat boy.

Thoughts on hammocks for the garden?
And anyone have this brand? Looks superb, amazing reviews, but pricy enough to make me pause before I press “buy”

Many thanks

Yes I have one. Had it for several years now, still in excellent condition despite DC jumping on it, and super comfortable. I don't normally like to be scrunched up in a regular hammock but this is like bed.

Have you got link?

I have a similar one from LLBean
www.llbean.com/llb/shop/39742?page=quilted-sunbrella-hammock&bc=&feat=hammock-SR0&csp=a&searchTerm=hammock&pos=5

I absolutely love it and we use it loads in summer. We put it under a tree and it's just so relaxing and comfortable. Hammock plus stand are US$500 if you pay full price - I think I paid US$400.

@KatharinaRosalie What do you do if rains? In winter? Do you have the larger one?

It basically looks just like the Fatboy, I think. We store it away in winter. You can take the base apart, and roll up the fabric part.

Hmm not sure if it's the bigger one, they only had one size available when we got it. If it rains it has a rain cover, but it has gotten wet quite often as well, no problem, just dries.
In the winter we store the fabric in the basement but leave the stand outside.

I bought a Mexican hammock from the Mexican hammock company. It's ok but I think there's better out there.
