Just a reminder to book your Smear test

I know it's easy to put off booking it, especially during a pandemic so here's a reminder to get it booked.

I had one done yesterday and it was so much better than they used to be, I didn't even feel her doing it.

My lovely friend has cervical cancer and had put off going for her smear for a couple of years, so we're just trying now to give everyone a gentle nudge.

Bumping! I went for mine last week and it was fine. I still felt nervous though. It’s hard for a lot of women but so important.

Is this smear test season or something? Most of the women I know have been recently and sooo many threads on here!

I had one a few months ago. I was surprised that they didn’t actually process the smear test as I was HPV negative. Had I known that’s the way it now works I would have asked for just the HPV test as it’s less invasive, I really struggle with smears and now feel like I didn’t actually need it.

Bump as well. Went for mine a few weeks back. Will see them again in 3 years
