How do you get over not being able to talk to someone anymore?

DP has ended our relationship. I am devastated.

For the past 3.5 years we were together we have messaged and spoken every single day, and now they have gone.
How the fuck do I get over not talking to them anymore? I miss them so badly and all I want to do is message/ring

@TaytosandTutus as the other poster said- time. You think at the moment you’ll never be able to do it, but you will. Each day it gets a tinier bit easier, but it really is so, so hard.

Contact friends.
Post on here.
One day at a time.
Don't try to be "friends" or beg your ex dp, just go for a clean break.
It doesn't feel like it now but you will start to feel better but by bit I promise.
