First of all apologies if this appears twice! I started a thread and something went wrong. It seems to have disappeared!
Can anyone advise on brands of jogger that come up long please?
Ds is about 6’2” and size medium. Nike etc just too short in a medium but can’t go up to large.
Adidas do tall but none are available.
He’s not bothered about which brand but doesn’t like too tight fitting.
If I knew which were longer fitting I could stick to a medium or neat fitting I could go up a size.
Does anyone know what Superdry are like?
Thank you so much.

Tall, so jeans would fit, as an alternative?

Not designer, but my 14 yo, 6'3 son is wearing Next slim or skinny joggers in tall, and there is plenty of leg length even in the small

Yes we've bought these too.

DS1 is 17 & 6’5” & all trousers are tricky! He is now quite brand oriented which makes it harder - but prior to that Next do several tall joggers, occasionally Nike do to (although near impossible to find) & weirdly some Primark ones fitted ok, (although DS is very skinny too & bought a large so a bit baggy & only available in store so not an option at the moment).

What I’ve found frustrating is that all men’s tall clothing seems to also be ‘big & tall’, no provision at all for tall & slim!

Also, not joggers but Carrhart do up to 35” leg lengths & skinny waists & they fit really well (& are deemed acceptable in terms of fashion..) they’re pricey but they’re indestructible & if he’s done growing they last.

peak2021 Thanks - he does have some jeans as they are easy to get in different leg lengths.
He used to wear jeans going out. He just hasn’t really worn anything other than joggers for a long time now as he obviously isn’t out much and he finds them much more comfortable.
They all seem to come in just S, M, L etc and I see plenty of people taller than him wearing them. I just hoped someone on here with a son or husband 6’2” plus could tell me what brand they buy.

X-posted there, seems we’ve all found those Next ones!

Thank you - I am looking at Next now. Brilliant, he’s not worried about brand so will order some of those.
Carrhart is a name I will remember too for future use. Thanks. He’s definitely still growing at a fair rate so I really only want to replace joggers for now.
He’s been the same size in a t shirt or hoody for years but legs and feet (currently size 11) keep on growing.

Oh Decathlon are good for my 5ft 4" dh but they're not a trendy skinny fit.

AndreaMartelsCoat · 21/02/2021 15:05

6ft 4" not 5, I seem to have shrunk dh by a foot Grin

nicky2512 · 21/02/2021 15:05

That Boohoo pair look good too!
Thank you.

AndreaMartelsCoat That would never do! You would be having the opposite problem with trouser length then!!
Will look there too. He doesn’t like a tight fit.

I'm really impressed by the Next selection overall - ds wanted some plain black t shirts, and they do those in a tall fit for £6. I've noticed the trick is to filter by size 'S tall' rather than asking to filter by tall. As he's slim and still growing upwards, his t shirts tend towards a cropped style if they fit him round in normal length

nicky2512 · 21/02/2021 15:25

CMOTDibbler Next are definitely looking like my best option.
I know what you mean. Ds has slimmed down a lot as he has grown but has very broad shoulders. He often needs a large in a t shirt which is then too loose at the bottom.
Dd never caused me these problems and she’s the fussy one!!

I just want to get him sorted. He would never dream of asking for clothes and wouldn’t want things if he thought they cost much. He’s a good boy and none of them are getting it easy at the minute.

Thanks everyone.
