Holiday abroad next year

Is anyone booking a holiday abroad for next year? I found a great deal for July 2022. It's ATOL protected so am
I right in thinking if cancelled due to COVID by then I wouldn't lose the deposit? Thanks.

If the plane doesn't physically take off due to covid you will get your money back. If you get ill or have symptoms you will lose out unless you have insurance that covers covid, which I think is pretty impossible to get now.

Are the holiday company offering free cancellation or amendments? Most are I think. That's your best bet.

2024? Where have you heard that? We can't predict six months ahead. Let alone 3 years.
