Feeling scared

I've been undergoing tests at Gp for long covid. Chest ray picked up that I have thoracic scoliosis (curvature of the spine) tonight I have had pins and needles in my left arm and now I am terrified I have a tumour. I can't sleep. I can't stop crying.
I do have health anxiety. I don't know what to do

I'm sorry, I know how you feel re health anxiety - is curvature of the spine related to tumours? What other tests have you had?

vodkaredbullgirl · 21/02/2021 06:09

Have you slept on your arm funny or knocked you funny bone. Call 111 if you are worried but be prepared for a long message as you get to speak to someone.

Thanks for the replies. No, not linked to tumours - or only in very small percentage.
I've been like this since they told me I had the curvature - I'm awaiting to see orthopaedics. I don't know if I've been lying on my arm funny or even if it is anxiety. I can't sleep now I'm imagining all sorts. DH and DC all asleep

Can't you wake your DH for a hug? You will be stressed if you're having tests and finding things out Flowers

I'm convincing myself it's long covid but my anxiety is telling me it's something else Sad

Maybe try to accept you feel anxious right now and simply be nurturing towards yourself, make something nice to eat, watch something familiar, try to rest.

Thanks for replying, I went back to bed for a couple of hours. The pins and needles have now gone and I'm hoping it doesn't come back
