I've seen people find so many songs/films with help on here so hopefully this works.

This is what I remember-

It was a fast song (not a ballad. Very feel good)
Sang by a man (possibly a duet with woman)
Pretty sure the music video involved some sort of street party.
Was out around 96/97/98

I did think Janet Jackson or Bobby Brown but couldn't find a song when I googled them.

If anyone has any ideas that would be much appreciated. This is doing my head in!

Oh just to add, it definitely wasn't a band.

Sorry no. I did think that the word 'feelings' or 'feel' could have been in the title but I'm not 100% on that.

Janet Jackson Together Again is giving me the same vibes. I think it must be similar to that.
