DD 8 just asked me what it feels like to take my bra off at the end of the day 😂 No idea what triggered the question, we're watching a kids movie.

My answer was "really nice". Not very inspiring. Anyone else?

It marks the end of the working day in some way, and for me it is like removing a layer of stress

lydia2021 · 20/02/2021 18:49

More air can get to skin. Chill out time

Piecarumba · 20/02/2021 18:58

Like when you’ve had your hair in a ponytail all day and get home and take it out

Yes to that.

If it's uncomfortable then you need to remeasure your size and / or try some new styles. Seriously, no-one should have to live with an uncomfortable bra, don't torture yourself.

I only take my bra off when I go to bed. The rest of the time I don't notice it.

The website I used for measurements is boob or bust.

Like when you take your clothes off and put your pjs on.

MumofPsuedoAdult · 20/02/2021 19:19

Like taking your hair out of a tight ponytail.....

Tal45 · 20/02/2021 19:37

I've barely worn one since the first lock down :-D

HosannainExcelSheets · 20/02/2021 19:42

@Lockandtees

It’s nothing to do with the bra being badly fitted *@Lockheart*. However we’ll fitted it is it will still be more comfortable not wearing it. It’s the same as taking a pair of jeans off and putting your pjs on.
I think that really depends on your boobs/bra combination. I'm a 30FF and breastfed 3 children for about a year each. I'm pretty droopy now. It's definitely more comfortable in some kind of bra, but I can never find comfortable underwire styles because of how my rib cage is shaped.

So I don't take off my bra at the end of the day so much as put on a more comfy, softer one. But it still feels liberating and relaxing.

Brokenchair1 · 20/02/2021 19:45

I've thought of another one. Like opening the button of jeans when you've eaten too much. It's the whole release thing (fairly big busted here).

hosanna we're bra mates! My back size has got smaller over the years, although I think it's cos my boobs have got lower so it's a narrower part of my back!

I find it really difficult to buy soft, lounge bras cos either the band is too big or the cup too small.

Eviethyme · 20/02/2021 20:12

Like finally being free after being restricted all day, I have big floppy boobs and I just live getting home throwing off my shoes, putting my hair down getting into pj's and taking my bra off. It's just a routine of becoming comfy
