Can I still use this hair dye?

During the first lockdown I subscribed to e-Salon and had regular deliveries of my hair dye. During this lockdown I haven't bothered to dye my hair as I was WFH but I'm due back into the office on Monday and I look like a pigeon has splat on my head.

I have just found a delivery I received in May of last year from the e-salon which hasn't been opened. Would it be ok to still use this or is it too old? The developer and colour are in separate bottles and are untouched.

I'd go for it personally, I found an unopened box of hair dye which I bought a couple of years ago, and it was absolutely fine - as long as the colour and developer are sealed it should be fine.
I did mine because I too looked like a pigeon had splat on my head!

Unfortunately it doesn't look like I can use it. I just went onto the e-salon website and it says the shelf life is 6 months. Looks like I will be going to work looking like a pigeon has splat on my head then 😱
