What do you think this dream means?

My nan passed away last September.
I seen her every day all my life.
She brought me up after my mum died and was my best friend.
She passed away at 98 and I had looked after her for 15 years.
Anyway last night I had such a lovely dream.
I was in her house and she was there looking healthy and dressed in her nice jumper.
I said "your back" and she said "I would never ever leave you"
Then we just hugged for ages and it just felt so nice and real.
Then a bright light appeared and I thought that she had to go back to heaven now.
Then I walked out of her house and woke up.
I'm starting a new job soon.
I've been anxious
I like to think this is her trying to calm me down as she always did .

So sorry about your nan, she sounds wonderful . I've had similar dreams about my mum. It's sad when I wake up and realise it wasn't real but I've learned to take comfort from spending time with her because it does feel so real.

Best of luck in your new job, I'm sure your nan would be giving you lots of advice and boosting your confidence so maybe that's why you are dreaming about her.

I had a similar dream a few months after my mum passed (& personally believe they are actual visits, rather than "just" dreams, but either way, a wonderful comfort).
