Can anyone recommend a nice grey for my Hallway?

It’s quite a narrow space, light comes through a couple of panes in the door.. it’s not a period or new build, had a dado rail running around it.

I’ve tried... polished pebble - quote bluey
Taupe - too brown
Egyptian cotton - to beige
Nutmeg white - too light
Gentle dawn - too yellow
Elephant breath - brown

Any ideas? I’m after a soft grey, that’s not too cool, but not too brown.

Ideally I wanted two complementary grey one either side of the dado rail.

Dulux Chic Shadow is a lovely shade of grey

Wevet is a very light silvery grey f n b. Dimpsey is what we have in our hallway, also f n b.

Also dulux swansdown and goose down are good. I've come an apartment in swansdown and its lovely

Dulux Porcelain Doll. We have it throughout our hallway. It's a lovely soft light grey.

I have started using Dulux Rock Salt nearly everywhere. I find it a lovely very very light grey.

Have a look at Farrow and ball cornforth white.

We have had Chic Shadow and Goosedown. Gentle greys.

Another vote for dulux rock salt.

Rock salt for a v pale grey
Goosedown is lovely, I have it in my bedroom
Chic shadow is darker, my hallway is done in it

First is goose down, second chic shadow
