Why would someone rather be known as the son of Woody Allen than Frank Sinatra?

I have often wondered this at 3am when I cant sleep

Ronan Farrow is a blond version of FS, and appears to loathe WA due to the allegations of abuse against his sister Dylan, yet he doesnt disown him. Not saying FS was a paragon of virtue, far from it, but I think I would still rather be his offspring than WA as RF still says he is.

Why is this? Makes no sense to me, most people would want to be as far away from a potential abuser as possible I would think. WA and Mia Farrow were separated by the time Ronan was 5 so it isnt as if he grew up with him there.

Just musing this on a slow friday night.....

Absence of DNA testing? The Sinatra family have denied it and he doesn't want to get sued for pushing the issue? WA is on record as saying that he doesn't think it's fair he had to pay child support if Ronan isn't his biological child so there's a chance he would sue for repayment of the money? Mostly I'd guess that it's because a huge hornets nest that really does not need poking at.

There is a photo of Frank with Mia and my goodness... The way Frank is slightly turned to the side.. He looks exactly like ronan.... It's incredible. I've seen other shots where they look similar...

Yes, it is funny how the child born out of an affair often looks more like the dad than the kids of the marriage - am thinking Arnie's son and Boris Becker's daughter, though I have not done a study of this

Maybe he's protecting his Mum by not confirming that she cheated on Woody with Frank. Admitting that would very much hand the moral high ground back to Woody, which no one wants to do.

Not sure if this is true, but read somewhere Ronan has had plastic surgery - maybe a nose job? This may have muddied the waters somewhat.

Mia Farrow and Frank Sinatra looked very similar (when they got married there were lots of jokes about Frank marrying the female version of him or him accidentally marrying an unknown daughter etc.) so the fact that Ronan looks like Sinatra doesn’t mean much. Mia also has the blue eyes, the bone structure etc. Also Ronan used to have a nose and chin/jaw more like Woody’s but he had work done while still a teenager.

Plus as you say, Frank had his own issues. Not as bad as Woody’s of course, but it’s not like it would be a massive trade up to be related to a mobbed up woman beater who slept with his share of teenage groupies instead.

Last year, Mia Farrow tweeted a video of young Ronan singing.

Whatever speculation there might be about his father based on his face, that voice.... pure Sinatra.

Also Ronan Farrow not only uses his Mums surname he claims neither as his father actually

I thought it was unlikely because Sinatra had had a vasectomy well before Roman was conceived? I know they can fail but it does reduce the likelihood. Agree that Ronan looks like Mia, and that Mia looks like Sinatra.

I cant open the link but Ive always thought he's mias double. What a messed up family they are. I hope Angelinas brood dont go the same way.
