Thought I’d try something different for dinner this evening and found a recipe for chicken satay that my sister had scribbled down for me ages ago.
The ingredients were peanut butter, honey and milk, She didn’t state quantities so I guessed- half a jar of peanut butter and a couple of spoonfuls of honey with a splash of milk to make it less claggy. I mixed them together, smeared it over some chicken and shoved it in the oven.

It was disgusting, more like chicken Snickers that satay. I called my sister and she said she couldn’t remember writing it and was sure soy sauce , onion and garlic should have featured in it.
So I have eaten my chicken a la snickers (I hate to waste food) and now have belly ache Sad Blush

Sound gross
I make chicken satay and certainly don’t use milk
I use peanut butter, sesame oil, garlic, ginger and soy

Yeah its coconut milk not normal milk and a lot less peanut butter

SHould be something like this

½ lime, juiced
1 tsp clear honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp curry powder
3 tbsp smooth peanut butter
165ml can coconut milk

It was gross ! I’ve no idea what this ‘recipe’ is that my sister wrote down, nor has she - I’ve a horrible feeling it might have been a shopping list that I’ve mistaken for a recipe !

Thank you, I’ve taken a screenshot and if I can ever face peanut butter again, I will follow your recipe.
