Just want to check what others would do.

3yo DS was playing in the bath with his sister when she suddenly lunged forward, got him in a headlock and pushed his face under.

It took me about 0.5 seconds to get across the room and pull him out, but he was sputtering and coughing and drooling after.

She's gone to bed with no story and a firm telling-off but not sure if I should worry about DS. I have looked up secondary drowning and it seems to be rare, but would you worry? I was thinking of just checking him every hour from his bedtime to ours but would you do anything more?

He seems fine in himself now.

Well done for rescuing him so quick and his immediate coughing should have cleared his lungs.. you could dial 111 and check ..
