The thing that really annoys me about Lego..

There are lots of things that annoy me. It's so expensive, the boxes are so big compared to the contents, but they're by far the market leader, they do what they do very well and people buy it so, it can't be all bad.

However, the thing that really annoys me is that the massive boxes, far too big for the number of bricks, are the wrong shape for the finished model. Is it really too much to expect the the huge box might be made in the right shape to store the finished project?

Why would you store it in a box? It either goes on the shelf or into the lego mosh pit.

It goes on a shelf for a while until it's thick with dust and then you're, right ends up in the box with all the other lego, but then it will never be used or looked at again.

DS (late teens and buying for himself) has rediscovered lego during lockdown and I'm sure is buying kits he already has because the pieces for the original sets are among thousands of others.
