Round 4 of IVF and potentially our last. I've thrown everything at it financially and have spend today paying 14k worth of invoices for egg collection on Monday.
I feel a bit lost, I've just got home from work and have poured myself an AF wine and started working again 😐
Does anyone fancy keeping me company / distracted over the weekend until I have my surgery on Monday. I need a bit of a handhold .......

I know I'm being pathetic and needy - sorry

You’re not being needy or pathetic . You’re a bloody warrior.
💐 for you and wishing you so much luck for the next cycle

Hand holding here... and keeping everything crossed for you!

I've been through ivf and I know how all consuming it is. Music helped me a lot, does that work for you or too emotive?

Not pathetic and needy. You're going through something so difficult that so few people understand.

We're starting IVF in autumn and already trying to figure out distractions.

Do you have good books, box sets? When we have IVF I'm going to reread I capture the castle, and the Cazalet Chronicles, and rewatch Good Omens.

What are your weekend plans? It would be so much easier if you were allowed lunch out, or brunch, I love brunch.

Not pathetic and needy at all.

I've been there with IVF and found box sets, adult colouring books, and jigsaws to be the best distraction.

Fingers are crossed for you.

I feel I have NO attention span. I'm just mindlessly flitting from one thing to the next. I'd love to get myself some sort of craft project to keep myself entertained!
I'm a HUGE fitness addict, however am trying to step that down to see if it makes a difference. But not being able to train is driving me mental !!

Do you have a garden OP? There are loads of jobs that need doing now and most of them I find quite therapeutic. I have only discovered gardening recently but find it excellent for clearing my head and a keeping me busy. Even better if you have something big to brutally cut down or dig out.
Thinking of you x

Yes have a garden and to be honest, have lots to do in it so that could be a good plan !!
I just need a project to keep me busy !
