What would stay, what would go? Actually really like it, bit of a surprise for what looks like a wee terrace.

It’s not grey!

coldemortreturns · 19/02/2021 00:54

Maybe a touch overdone on the blue in the kitchen Grin
Quite fancy my own mini courtyard....

Bathroom needs doing and I'd change the curtains but I like it

coldemortreturns · 19/02/2021 00:57

Agree bathroom is horrid

That's a very welcome start

I would keep the tiled path but the kitchen tiles would have to go. I like bright but the wall and floor tiles together are too much. The stair carpet would go and the bathroom needs redoing.

I love the fireplaces.

ConeHat · 19/02/2021 01:03

I've the front tiles. Hate the blue ones. What a lovely house. Horrible stairs carpet!

I think I would paint a wall teal and some tartan winged chairs in there

dreamingbohemian · 19/02/2021 01:06

What the hell is that for a garden???

coldemortreturns · 19/02/2021 01:10

@dreamingbohemian

What the hell is that for a garden???
Doesn't every mid terrace come with it's own outdoor loo, coal shed and errrrr...... sundial?????

Rightmove Insomnia has a name! So pleased I'm not the only one 😁

I like the blue tiles, but everything else would probably go!

RoundedTum · 19/02/2021 01:17

I live a couple of streets away from this house Smile

Was so surprised when I clicked the link!

I would also keep the front tiles but lose the blue ones inside and I'd also sort the garden out by putting in some nice paving or if it's big enough, a paved patio area and some grass. Definitely a new bathroom too- or at least different floor tiles- it would drive me mad they are just a shade or 2 off matching the rest of the bathroom!

BlankTimes · 19/02/2021 01:35

Pic 2. I like the tiling outside at the front and hope it's not slippery if it rains. Whoever laid those tiles did a fabulous job matching up the tile pattern with the inspection chamber cover.

Pic 13, When you have a ceiling airer, you need to have it near a wall on one end and have a cleat on the wall to anchor the rope when you need to move it up and down. It looks as though they've put theirs the wrong way round and the rope goes right across the room.

TwoZeroTwoZero · 19/02/2021 01:38

Lose the curtains and the blue flooring but I like the blue wall tiles in the kitchen and I actually like the bathroom. The stairs carpet would also have to go. I'd probably put some grass and some plants in the garden and the outside loo could come in handy for the dc if they're playing outside so they're not traipsing up & down stairs every 5 minutes!

RoundedTum · 19/02/2021 01:40

Oh and I like the fireplaces!

The “characterful” floor tiles would go, bathroom is wrong for the house so that would go. Stair carpet would go.
I like a lot of it, especially the tiles at the front. I would change the back courtyard gravel area to be a box plant maze, with lavender and roses.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 19/02/2021 02:11

I think the bathroom is horrid. Why on earth did those huge brown/beige tiles become popular.

Kitchen floor is too much as is the stair carpet although.

Love the front path.
