Is anyone else's WhatsApp not sending notifications?

A few of my friends are having the same issue as me - calls not coming through, messages not showing up. It's getting worse, I think, these past couple of weeks. Is there a bug in the app or something?

Yes I think so. The messages are there, but until I manually open What's app, they don't always show - or sometimes only hours later.

I think I read that it might be an iphone thing. Mine is an iphone 11. All the instructions online tell me to check the notifications settings etc, but I don't have the settings that they seem to be describing - maybe there has been an update since those pages. But I haven't solved it, just have to check manually when I remember.

I have an android phone.

I wonder if it's some update they did that's caused the issue.

Yes! It’s been this way for months for me. I keep turning notifications on in settings but it doesn’t seem to ‘stick’

Yep, same here! Nothing comes up for me either. It’s very annoying because I may have messages in there and not know unless I actually go into WhatsApp.
