Just looking for some ideas on some acts of kindness for my children to carry out during lockdown really?

Some children in our village painted uplifting messages on stones and left them dotted around the village. A lot of the older residents have been thrilled by finding these and there's been some happy chat about it on the local FB page.

They also made rainbows from those bead things you iron (don't know the name) and crocheted ones then hung them in glades in the woods with laminated upbeat poems tied to trees. I'm an old cynic but even I was wowed when I strayed upon one of these glades by chance.

A neighbour left me a bunch of lovely daffodils hanging from my front door handle :-) Brightened up the room for a week or more!

I spent some time litterpicking, which although not exactly glamorous, got me outside and doing something productive with instant results 🙂
