Hi I am a third year graphic design student. I have come on here as I understand that you are a friendly community, I would appreciate you supporting me by filling out my survey.

For my Final Major Project at University, I wanted to produce a book package given out to colleges and sixth-forms, which inspires BAME students with barriers (17 to 21) to go into the graphic design industry, to raise awareness, educate and inspire them. As currently people from BAME backgrounds in the UK make up 13% of jobs within the design industry. This book package would showcase to the target audience that there is a place for them despite the lack of representation.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to find out why creative subjects are less popular by parents and legal guardians from BAME Backgrounds. To see if their perspective can be changed and educate them about the design industry, so that their young adult can join a design degree.

I would appreciate your responses, thanks
