I got it's "I've landed" tweet.

Orcadianrythyms · 18/02/2021 21:09

Absolutely brilliant - great to see what this world can achieve when we put our minds together.

BringBackDoves · 18/02/2021 21:10

So amazing. I got a bit emotional when it landed. It’s so brilliant seeing such hard work pay off. And you can see Mars so clearly tonight above the moon!

Allmyfavouritepeople · 18/02/2021 21:10

Very exciting!

So nice to see the control room erupt in happiness like that.

megletsecond · 18/02/2021 21:12

I gave them a little round of applause from my sofa.

GrouchyKiwi · 18/02/2021 21:13

I cried. It must have been so brilliant for the team. It's kind of been out of their hands since leaving Earth. 7 months, and then these minutes of landing. So nervewracking. The cheers were lovely.

It’s looking for life there, it’ll be fascinating to watch what it turns up.

It's amazing! I'm excited for these findings and for the Europa mission 2027

peak2021 · 18/02/2021 21:58

I remember a previous unmanned space craft that landed on one of the planets (cannot remember which) and the lead scientist's mum was interviewed, pointing out he could not use the dishwasher (or some other basic household task). I thought of this.

I hope that they will achieve their aims.
