Firefly lane on Netflix! Watched in 3 days, just the right amount of drama, romance and mystery

It's a sin on 4od also amazing but very different.

I enjoyed ‘the news of the world’ (Tom Hanks movie)

Bridgerton?

Unforgotten. I watched this to fill the space after I finished The Fall and really enjoyed it.

The Great on All4. It’s hilarious, great story and lavish. And a bit filthy.

I really liked Snowpiercer. I wasnt expecting too as for some reason I thought it would all be fighting etc but it isnt at all. There are some violent scenes, but there is lots of politicing, emotional stuff. Basically the whole spectrum in a very self contained world. Also all the characters are very 3 dimensional, no-one is just evil or just good and their motivations all make sense. And very strong, well realised female characters.

Quite enjoyed Good girls, Cheat, The Alienist (read the book a while back and was interesting to see how it was portrayed as series - they did a good job).
Also Three girls a great watch - true story about sexual abuse and grooming in Rochdale that took place between 2008 and 2012.
Just started watching Behind her eyes, watched a first episode and seems good.

Lupin, Cobra Kai, Schitt's Creek, Narcos, Queen's Gambit, Mindhunter & Dark series 1 are all brilliant. Bridgerton & The Crown are perfect for undemanding binge watching.

If anyone is looking for a film recommendation I loved the Green Book. It was excellent.

Currently watching safehouse. It's quite good!

We are watching The Spy ( 6 part series) with Sacha Baron Cohen in a serious role again.

We have also just finished a 3 series run of Borgen which is an easy to watch political drama with little stand alone issue in each episode but ongoing stories about the main characters.

Bridgerton, Firelfly Lane, Virgin River and Dead to me.

We loved Snowpiercer too and I expected to hate it.

Orphan Black really interesting series revolving around clones. But it's also a story about female autonomy and fighting the patriarchy. The lead actressiis amazing.

For something light and easy to watch, Virgin River and Sweet Magnolias.

Call my agent. Its one of those where I know ill be bereft when it ends. So good.

Just finished Safe which is an 8 parter set in a gated community. We enjoyed it and it didn’t feel too long.

I have just started the new release “behind her eyes” . It looks promising.

Read the book Behind her eyes’ watched the first two last night, it’s staying fairly close to the book.

I’ve just watched The Drowning, it was rubbish.

Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes. Hadn't seen them before, loved them!
