4yo dd too hyperactive?

My dd is driving us all insane.

She’s is constantly hyper. She can’t sit still or be quiet for longer than a few seconds. She’s constantly either on the move or talking. She even talks to herself if she’s playing a game on my phone etc (which she doesn’t go on much as it makes her rude).

She doesn’t sleep all night. She wakes from midnight and is wide awake. I constantly put her back to bed until she falls asleep again.

She can’t seem to “play” unless it’s with her babies for longer than a few mins. Even at the park she can’t go on something for longer than a few seconds, she just runs from one thing to another.

She has a speech delay as well and is currently having help with speech therapists.

It’s honestly driving us all crazy, it feels like she never stops at all. We are exhausted 😔

I can’t remember my older two being this hard work.

Has she always been like this or is it just since the pandemic? Does she go to nursery/school?

She might just not be tired enough/understimulated if she is at home (not a dig, my 4 year old is finding it really hard to get to sleep since school has shut).

My advice would be go out first thing in the morning and stay out as long as you can (easier said than done!), then hopefully she'll be a bit calmer in the afternoons.
