Guesses for when we will come out of lockdown

Hi all,
I am currently in London studying and working for the year to finish my degree after my longterm relationship ended. All of my family are back up north and I honestly thought we would have been out of lockdown by now to see them regularly especially being in such a tough time, my great grandmother is 95 next month and has been going downhill for the past year or so now, can walk and bathe independently (just) and still got her marbles but my mum has noted over the last few days that she is looking frailer and getting confused, I really want to be able to see her as does everyone else with their families I imagine and I wondered when people thought we might be out of this, so what date things will begin to ease?

As a Uni Student did you not go home over Christmas?

Will you be going home over summer?

My crystal ball is a bit crap this time of the morning, but I'd not think until may at the earliest. By Monday you should have a better idea.

I'm an older student so abit tough, I saw my family at Christmas yes and got back eventually but realised I really want to just be back in my home city. I unfortunately wouldn't be able to move back till the end of the year though, have no-one here because we can't meet people anymore and it has been tough, and sadly that was what I had thought, I had hoped for mid march but unlikely now
