Just looking for some advice as my head is going to explode with all the stuff I’m sorting out.
The family home was awarded to me, on the 3rd March the exchange will happen. I currently am the account holder on the energy bill, which is up for renewal on the 27th Feb. He currently lives there and must leave on the 3rd with all bills paid up.
I don’t know what to do with the energy as I’d like to renew it but he won’t be out until the 3rd. Currently he pays the direct debit as I don’t like there. Do I just leave it, I guess it will switch to a variable rate after fixed term ends and fix it again once he has left???
Also I want the bills to be paid up to date as per court order but we only speak via solicitor due to domestic abuse so I can’t go into house until the 3rd march...
Help!!!!
