Hi there. I have done a search but can’t find the answers to my questions

I just put an order in for one of their tinker crates and, perhaps stupidly, thought I would be charged a monthly subscription cost. Instead they have taken the whole amount - actually they took it twice which is a whole other issue that has been resolved.

Is this how it is done? Whole amount taken and then if I want to cancel I do it before they charge for another year?

I wasn’t expecting it to be such a large upfront cost.

Also is postage factored in to that cost or will they charge me more and has anyone experienced any extra costs as a result of the whole Brexit/import issue?

I've just gone through the checkout process, and they clearly quote the full cost on checking out.

I totally get why you might think it would be a monthly cost, but I think the fact they get the money up front, as well as the fact you are tied in, is the reason is cheaper per month.

I've just gone through the checkout process, and they add on vat and postage as you checkout, so you will have paid for that already.

I have seen other people have posted concerns about the postage here and they do have a note on their website about postage to the U.K. since Brexit

My concern is that they have refunded more than half of what they took and I am not sure why. Their customer service has been very good so far so I hope they will email me back once they are awake.
