Put urine sample in the fridge?

Had to get a urine sample from DD as I suspect a UTI. Do I keep in the fridge or out??

I don't put it in the fridge but think the sample need a to be fresh that day.

Depends what it’s for...Red top container or white top (also depends if it’s being sent away or dipped in the surgery) but usually here they need sent before a certain time, did they say when you collected the sample pot. I collect samples at work and unless it’s a specific sample they don’t go in the fridge - doesn’t sound like it needs to. You could call your gp to ask though?

I've never put any of mine in the fridge. Unless you have been specifically asked to then I wouldn't bother.
