Motivate me please!

I do an occasional yoga video and have sporadic bursts of jogging, then do nothing for weeks. I know I need to do regular exercise - I'm a freelancer with a sedentary job - and I want to. But I hate doing it, I find it all so tedious.
How do I get motivated to really do it and stick to it, to make myself get out there and do it?

Either make it at a set time every day and it’ll become routine. And/or make a chart which you have to tick once you have exercised. And put the chart where it will be watching you
